Indutrade makes add-on acquisition within Life Science

Indutrade has signed an agreement to acquire all shares in the German company PHACOTEC Produkt-Service GmbH, www.phacotec.de, with annual sales of approximately EUR 2.7 million (SEK 30 million).

Phacotec is specialised in packaging materials and primary packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and food industries. The company has an extensive customer base and offers a broad range of containers, closures and related packaging components from both proprietary and established industry brands. Phacotec was founded in 1998, has three employees and is located in Hamburg, Germany.

As an add-on to Indutrade-owned APG Europe in the Netherlands, the companies’ combined offerings will provide good growth opportunities.

The closing took place on 22 May and Phacotec will be included in Indutrade's Business Area Life Science. The acquisition is Indutrade's fourth in 2026 and is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Indutrade's earnings per share.
